Founder and director of designjunction, she creates the working environment in which projects flourish, in turn delivering the end results so valued by clients.

Matthew Hawkins

Business Development Manager

A graduate in Business Studies, Matthew has worked in top design agencies in various project management and new business roles. With a finely-tuned flair for business opportunities, he’s always on the lookout for Design Science Office's next big project.

Mieka Sywak

Project Manager

After graduating in Art History and Italian and acquiring a Masters degree in Fine and Decorative Arts at Sotheby’s, Mieka developed her capabilities further at The Carpenters Workshop Gallery.

Her multi-dimensional approach and outstanding organisational skills are rounded off with knowledge of what it takes to successfully deliver a project in its entirety, especially under pressure.

Micha Weidmann

Creative Director

Combining a background in classic print design with art direction honed on luxurious brands such as Prada and Miu Miu, Micha also brings his finely-tuned talents to bear on editorial, exhibition and publication work.

He teaches typography at the School of Graphic Design in Bern, and is a regular on international design and photography award panels.

Teresa Lima

Designer

A former student of Communication Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design, since July 2007 Teresa has worked alongside Micha Weidmann. A devotee of all aspects of typography.

Matthias Willerich

Technical Director

Matthias graduated top of his class in Applied Computer Sciences. From this auspicious start he moved on to develop sophisticated websites for, amongst others, NESTA and Virgin Mobile. He’s been technical leader on projects for Magnum Photos, Warp Films and The Haunch of Venison Gallery.

Thoroughness and quality are Matthias’s watchwords. With him, no technical stone goes unturned.

Simon Tsang

Work placement

Simon qualified as a Master of European Design at The Glasgow School of Art. With a passion for technology bordering on the obsessional, plus an in-depth understanding of design strategy, he’s a unique and highly valuable resource.
